Vitus Wins at the San Francisco International Wine Competition

Today, Vitus Napa Valley announced double medal win at the 30th Annual San Francisco International Wine Competition at Hotel Nikko in San Francisco on June 18, 19 and 20, 2010. Vitus 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon won the Silver Medal and Vitus 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon earned the Bronze Medal at the three-day competition.

Vitus Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes grown in the prestigious Oakville region in Napa Valley, they are big, bold wines aged for 2 years in new French Oak Barrels. As a winner of two of the top medals, Vitus will be featured in the August issue of The Tasting Panel Magazine.

This win comes just as Vitus announces its three medal wins from the California State Fair Commercial Wine Competition. Vitus Napa Valley competed amongst hundreds of wines entered into each category to win the Gold Medal for its 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, the Silver Medal for its 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve and the Bronze for its 2007 Merlot.
